I’m a startup CFO and senior finance leader who works with founders from seed through Series B. I help businesses build the financial foundations required to raise capital, scale confidently and make better commercial decisions.

I have held CFO and finance leadership roles across venture-backed, fintech and finance-led businesses, including Safewill and Fundsquire. My experience includes equity and debt fundraising, financial modelling and forecasting, board and investor reporting, cash-flow and runway management, finance-function build-out, commercial strategy and improving financial controls.

I’m particularly useful when a business has outgrown founder-led finance but is not yet ready for a full-time CFO. I work closely with founders and leadership teams as a practical, hands-on finance partner rather than an external accountant. I’m selective about the businesses I work with and only take on engagements where I genuinely believe my experience can make a meaningful difference.

Big wins

• Built the finance function, reporting and controls at Safewill and supported the business through subsequent funding, including its Series B round.
• Led finance across Australia, the UK and Canada at Fundsquire, supporting a $75m debt and equity raise and a lending portfolio exceeding $130m.
• Partnered with Hedge Effective Advisory to shape and execute its growth strategy, contributing to 50% year-on-year revenue growth in the first year.
