Most startups reach a point where the way they work has not kept up with how much they have grown. The same information is typed into 3 systems, approvals wait in one person's inbox, the processes live in people's heads, and the founder spends the week holding it all together. I have spent nearly 20 years in strategy and transformation across corporates and startups alike, designing strategy and aligning the operations, building in efficiencies to empower staff, and improving the systems they run on.

Before I change anything, I measure the whole business. Every engagement starts with a diagnosis across 9 elements, from purpose and strategy through finance, people, process and technology, using Sova - the diagnostic I built for Australian founders (ETIH 2026 EdTech Start-Up of the Year Finalist; ATC 2026 EdTech Semi-Finalist). Improvement rarely starts where it shows up, since a slow process is often an ownership problem and a cash problem is often a pricing problem, so the diagnosis decides what gets fixed first, and we measure again at the end so you can see the change in a number.

Big wins

• Took five founders this year from an average of 2.2 to 4.2 out of 5 on clarity about their direction in a single working day
• Built the operating template that scaled Queensland's largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation from 2 to 17 clinics
• Merged two healthcare organisations ($70 million combined revenue, 8,500 clients) in eight months, by settling which operating model would survive
